New monthly public build! This one's a big one, featuring the magic overhaul, a lot of new content, drastically improved performance (which also means most android vram crashes should be gone) and a ton of fixes and QoL tweaks. Check it out!

  • New features:
    • Magic overhaul 
      • Awakened perk for determining magic aptitude - Each rank increases starting mana in mana pool by 1/4, up to a maximum of 3/4 at rank 3 - Mage starts with Rank 3, Paladin/Enchantress 2, Ranger 1
      • Each point of base Magic increases mana pool by 4, rather than 3
      • Added Spellblade perk which gives parry while casting or Incanting depending on rank - Paladin and Enchantress start with rank 1
      • Added Incanter perk that gives evasion while Incanting - Mage starts with rank 1
      • Added Archmage perk that draws mana into your mana pool while Incanting - Mage starts with rank 1
      • Added Fizzle "spell" that will be used in place of other spells when you lack mana or to cancel casting a spell
      • Added Quickcast spell that uses mana to immediately move into Deep Casting stance from Balanced
      • Added Chant spell that channels a small amount of mana while blocking, learnable in Defensive stance
      • Added Deflect spell that fully parries an attack with your weapon when used in Balanced stance
      • Other adjustments to magic and related techniques down below
      • Added Inflict Wounds spell
    • Phallus types are now individualized on a per-character basis
    • Trip now lowers enemy stability without reaching the 100% full-trip threshold
    • Added Kiss skill in Ground Wrestle stance

    • Off-Hand and Double Attacks now appear as such in the combat log for clarity
    • Evade and Parry damage reduction amounts now appear in combat log

Absolutely loving the rebalances. buffing of wizard kinda. Maybe a wand can come out to replace the traditional weapons so that wizards can cast spells with an additional modifier and can store mana to use for one encounter per day. say 50 extra mana per day (or something greater for a boss fight)

Haven't played in a while, but it's nice to see good balance patches. :)

BTW, Positive note, Really like the "Food Barrel" you can buy in the human town for 20 gold that gives 200 food. Great deal.
Using quickcast into lightning spell is also great. Full Lightning at 8 magic is about 40 damage. instant removal for most low enemies.
Though you can also just cheese using sleep and inflict wounds.
Just remember to rest between fights to build up your reserve mana.

very cool stuff. The inflict wounds with sleep is very cool for boss fights i find. similar to the paralyze locks you could put on the demon lord. 

increase mana reserves even more would be cool, I just love casting spells.

I got a game glitch, The hold click to move the map is now reversed. Not holding click is moving the map and holding it keeps it still. Not entirely sure how I did it, while in combat I went back to futz with the options and came back to fighting. It was happening after that.
Can we have the option to switch that on and off now? Cause the game got glitched to the point even reloading the game didn't fix it. Probly gotta redownload. Gonna try that now.

After downloading again: Okay, it's gone, but I have literally no clue how the heck I got that glitch.
